Thread: Going to Lawry's in Beverly Hills

What is the dress code?

Also I'm not eating red meat right now so what should I get?

Business casual is appropriate. They usually have a decent amount of fresh fish choices and chicken. Everything is pretty good.

All I know about Lawrys is the prime rib. The cream corn is insanely good, as is the other sides. Cream spinach is the only one I would pass on.

For dress code, I wore dockers and a decent button up shirt and was fine.

Damn. now I want to round my buddies up and hit Lawry's for prime rib one of these days.

they have other stuff on the menu other than prime rib? lol, why even go...

I've always been stuck on the ribeye steak and a side of lobster tail

Ended up wearing a nice black button down as that my host was going casual and goes all the time. I don't think I saw a tie in the house. I did see someone in gym shorts and shower shoes. Plenty of flip flops too.

Had the prime rib it was good but enjoyed Houston's better...

get the prime rib from beef palace and make a great horseradish sauce yourself. soooo good

I'm a VIP Lawry's member and I too prefer Houston's Prime Rib. Lawry's is more of a tourist and/or place to celebrate a birthday for me. The creamed corn, the house salad and the service makes Lawry's fun but very pricey.
