Going to Vancouver this weekend for a quick vacation. Any recommendations on where to eat? So far going to Vij and Japa Dog since these are the two places i can remember from No Reservations? Besides food, any places i should definitely visit? thanks,

for a burger, Vera's Burger Shack....great burgers and fries. Other places are just hit and miss.....There were a few good sushi places can't remember their damn names....fish was fresh. Definetely go to Vera's. You should take the 2 hr drive to Whistler. THere are some great places to eat there!!

Check out Granville Island if you have the chance as well.

Hope you like Japanese food and Starbucks. When we went every other business along Robson was a Japanese restaurant and between every Japanese restaurant was a Starbucks.

Used to have a good chinatown. Haven't been to VAN for a city visit in years, only been at the port for cruises lately.

Was there in September. Everything got nice and refreshed in VAN thanks to the Olympics. Stanley Park was really nice but had a lot of construction near parts near the Lion's Gate bridge.

Skip Tim Horton's for doughnuts as they have been garbage for years since they started pre-baking them. Coffee is always YMMV.

We went to a reception @ a restaurant called Seasons in the Park. Great views at night!
