lol. ok ok, maybe i'll try it. there's another new place i wanna try around here but mainly because of the awesome liquor selection. i don't know how i feel about bacon brownies. it sounds great in theory, but i tried one from the lardon food truck and it was way way way too rich.

and that's 2 recs now for the bacon milk shake. hmmm... that i may try then even though i'm not really into milk shakes.
i am into any place with a good beer selection though. :)
a lot of the time, i find stuff mixed into mac n cheese to be a failure because it gets overwhelmed by the richness of the cheese.

I haven't seen any Goose Island outside of Matilda that everyone has mentioned. I don't think they distribute any other beer outside of the Midwest area.

Matilda is on tap at the L.A. Live Rock'n Fish as well. I usually stop there before every game. Haven't found any of the others on tap, although Bevmo carries the stout once in awhile.

Pepe Nero, Sofie, and Demolition are easy to find at Bevmo/Total Wine. I haven't seen any Bourbon County in a long time. Used to always be able to snag those at BevMo.

I can't speak for the South Bay area but once you're in the westside look for Blue Palms (Hollywood) and Mohawk Bend (Silverlake). Those are two of the best beer bars I know.

this was so good. I made my own burger--1/3 lb patty, Brie, bacon, sundried tomato, baby greens, pickles, garlic aioli on a brioche bun. then shared the maple bacon shake with my husband. delicious. also had the allagash curieux and deschutes black butte; great beer selection!
I wanted to try the mint chocolate Guinness shake but had no room in my belly. thank god I biked around town, chased the kid around the park and walked my dog today or I'd feel guilty eating all that decadence.
