Thread: The Great Burger Thread!

I know there have been random comments in threads about burgers in the past but I thought it'd be nice to have it all in one place. I'm a burger whore and always looking for a new one to try. Whether its a sexy burger or a traditional style burger I'm game.

Here are some of my favorites, so far.....

This is a sexy burger. My absolute favorite so far. The first time I ate it I started laughing mid bite b/c it was so damn good.

The burger at Hudson House

GRILLED ONION, BACON, JARLSBERG CHEESE, WILD ARUGULA

This one I'd still throw in the "gourmet" category even though its pretty traditional.

Everything there is a heavy metal theme. All your whiskeys and such are all ON TAP!

I must say that I was a little disappointed in this one. Maybe it had been hyped up a little too much to me. But even our friends who have been there many times said that the burger was slipping recently. Beer is second to none though. The Back Abbey

My last 2 burgers at Back Abbey have been as great as in the past. However, that is only for The Back Abbey Burger, served medium rare. The Back Yard and The Seasonal are good but not in the same class.

I'm certainly not opposed to giving it another shot. I love the overall vibe though.

The Habit Burger is okay. What makes it good are the fries, and dipping them into ranch dressing. The only fries that are similar are Islands, and I just hate trying to choke down one of Island's burgers just to get some good fries, with ranch.

Smashburger at Overland and Venice in Culver City is very good.

Very good chicken versions as well. Tasty garlic fries.

They also have salads and shakes.

the Grill em all people opened up a restaurant recently, if the burgers are anything like the ones on the truck they should be really good

The Apple Pan is a classic.

There's a little hole in the wall burger joint on Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills, a little east of Topanga Canyon, called Boulevard Burger. Nothing fancy, just good charbroiled burgers and great fries. Big portions and cheap.
