Grilled Fruit Appreciation Thread

We just grilled up some pineapple and apples last night. They were SOOOOOOO good. Just curious what other fruit people have tried grilling.

So what do grilled fruit taste like? Are they sweet? Is it like Bananas flambe?

Grilled peaches are wonderful. But my favorite is pineapple.

we have done peaches, bananas, apricots, mangos, pineapples. Don't think we have tried apples yet. maybe this weekend.

Grilled Plantains. Mmmmmm!

Love the Pineapples with some brown sugar on em too!

Bananas (best when slow smoked in the peel), peaches, pears, nectarines, apples, pineapple. They all come out great.

Also, sliced (about 1/4 inch thick) slabs of potato with a little olive oil and seasoned salt come out great as well.

Edit: Almost forgot about corn (though not a fruit).

Pineapple, with chicken breasts. Very good. Outback has a good chicken griller plate.
