Thread: Guinness launches "new" drink!

I'd think that there is a difference in a Guinness in between two of their bottles and a can. after experimenting with all three over the years, I have preferred the latter. in a frosty mug.

There have been dozens of craft failures that really aren't acknowledged simply because we in the community (which does more damage in actuality than promoting the art itself) "advocate" craft beer... whatever that means anyways. Its almost as if we are ashamed to dismiss an experimental,infected, or flat out nasty beer only because of its craft status, yet we have no problem loathing PBR and other good blue collar beers.

Here is a funny fact for you. Old school homebrew, which started the microbrew phenomenon, started with a can of PBR malt which you added table sugar and other things too. Which started a lot of people's negative view about homebrew.

Guinness is overrated, however I still like it a lot! You just can't compare it to other stouts because it will always come up short, to me at least. However, ain't a damn thing wrong with a few black & tans!
