Has anyone been to Beach Pit BBQ, since a new one is coming to HB
So, I was flipping through the Huntington Beach Independent this evening to find out that Smokin' Mo's sold their Main St. location to Beach Pit BBQ.
Can someone please tell me if I should make the trek down to 301 Main St to sample it?

+1 on the
about smokin' mo's. that place was good. i didn't get to go there as much as i wanted to. of course, i remember when it was a bagel shop and i liked that place, too.
i was just downtown today, but only to go to the post office. i hadn't even noticed mo's was gone. :(

"While both restaurants specialize in barbeque, the Beach Pit has more California-style dishes such as wraps and sliders, she said." (emphasis mine)

WTF???? Who the hell goes to a BBQ joint to order a god-damn wrap???? If I want a GOD DAMN WRAP, I will NOT be going to a BBQ joint. I will go to a "california" cuisine place or a sandwich shop.
"uh yes, can I get those baby back ribs in a wrap please?"
Brisket Sliders could work, though.
