When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
    Anything your heart desires
    Will come to you

If your heart is in your dream
    No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
    As dreamers do

    Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
    The sweet fulfillment of
    Their secret longing

Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wish upon a star
    Your dreams come true

Sorry that I had to go Disney on your ass!

Yardhouse has sucked balls for the past few years since they started over expanding. I remember when it was just the Long Beach location and ti was awesome. Good beer, and the food was solid. Now the food is hit or miss, service is crap, and the beer selection has gotten rid of some great beers:

Saxer 3 Finger Jack roasted red heffedunkel

    Caffrey's Irish Ale

the price of Delerium has gone up and they no longer offer it as a pint just in a goblet

Agree and disagree. Yes they have over expanded the food will never be as good as the original LBC location was but the same could be said of any restaurant.
I have found the quality of your food now greatly depends on the location. The Irvine Spectrum actually does a very good job. The Costa Mesa location can suck my balls.

Caffrey's Irish Ale wasn't their fault. Good luck finding that beer anywhere in North America.

    Try the Mac and Cheese

Service is also hit and miss. We were there once and got a really cute chick who went the extra mile everything we ordered that was there in a flash and with a smile. Next time we were there we got some uptight homosexual(yes actually gay) that made catty HR woman faces every time we ordered food or beer and wouldn't change the TV by us. Reward good service and punish bad service.

As far as "the price of Delerium has gone up" you do realize that inflation is in every sector of the economy right?

As I walked by it on the way to the game, I did noticed it that it was NOT open as of yet. They were still doing the finish work, and no chairs were in their.

agree with kj/obediah about the irvine spectrum location>>>costa mesa. it's better than brea's also.
i don't go there for food though. last time i ate there was at the brea location and i got sick from it.

delerium in a pint?! now that's just uncouth.
it damned well should be served in a goblet. that's how they do it in belgium!

    I didn't know the Yardhouse offered carry-out...

I just hope the prices are in line with the others and not jacked through the roof due to location, i.e. McDonald's at the airport, etc.

Gracias for your words of advice KJ. You are always a sage with a level head. I agree with the reward good service aspect in full.

I agree with the Irvine spectrum location. I have been there for lunch many times and they are always spot on whether it be sitting at the bar, or at a table. I was mostly referring to the Long Beach location which is 15 minutes from my house and the one I usually go to

Also, yes I know the economic downturn has hurt all aspects of society...but damnit this is beer we are talking about and a good beer at that
