hat - nice looking torpedo there.

Haven't smoked in awhile but used to be pretty heavy with my golf and poker buddies. Smoked many different and always ended up back at the same place.

Hoya de Monterrey, Excalibur #1. Smoothest smoke I have ever had. Smoked probably a 1000 of them and never a bad one.

I'm pretty much a Fuente head, and I prefer the short stories.

The Hemmingway's are fantastic. Those are what I handed out after my second was born. Yes, it was expensive.
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

I'll see if I can dig up some pics of my humi. Right now it's got some Monte #2's that I bought years ago that I believe are ISOM's, the dwindlings of whats left from a box of Mantequillas and Casa Blancas that I bought from JR.

Went to Vendome the other day and bought my very first Padron 64's and a Don Pepin. I've heard so much about them that when I saw them I had to try them.

If anyone's looking for a beast of a cigar, I recommend a La Flor Dominicana. I had a Chisel a few weeks ago (double ligero). Awesome. Might have to pick me up a box of 'em!

I know Vendome used to have a cigar special on Thursdays. It was either buy 1 get 1 free or 50% off. Do they still do that?

Ok... Ive got a box of about 8 Cohiba's my brother in law got me in the dominican republic. I have had these things for a few years wrapped up in a ziploc bag. Are they going to be OK if I put them in a humidor for a week or two, or are they toast?
And thats how you get ants!

I don't really know. They used to have a deal like that on Tuesdays but I don't know if they still do that.

3 years? Probably toast. You could try to rehydrate them but that's a process that takes months, not two weeks. Shocking them with moisture will make them swell and burst.

Keeping cigars in a baggie or tupperware is fine for short periods of time, but for years of storage you need either a humidor or a cool-idor.

First I would make sure that there is no mold or worms, if it rattles, that's not good.
A few weeks to acclimate would be best, don't want a dry cigar. Monitor the humidity, if they are really dry they will suck all the moisture from the other sticks.
    Good LUck

can you recommend one with a "spicy" flavor? gurkha tastes good, but I know there is better. Zino is just smooth. I can do the triple maduros and what not, but I'd rather have something spicier.

Now you are speaking my language. I am a spicy freak!.. Here are the two that you want to try ASAP:

Now what I noticed about the ESG is that it started very peppery and mellowed by the 1/2 point. but regardless I nubbed it anyways! (thanks eyesk8r)

    and my personal favorite cigar:

most peppery and bestest cigar thats not cuban! (until I find something better that is )

WTH, do you have a money tree in your backyard? I had the ESG earlier tonight and it was only peppery for the first half inch or so...I then had the Zino platinum and it was awesome.
