Default Hatter's Humidor - ***The Official CIGAR Thread***

    So who else smokes cigars?

This weekend was a great weekend meeting up in Vegas with eyesk8r. He hooked me up with some great sticks and it just reminded me of how much I love cigars and that there are no threads on cigars here on LGK.

Cigars I picked up this weekend:

    Ashton ESG (Estate Sun Grown)
    3 Fuentes Anejos
1 Torpedo Anejo with nice plume
    1 Fuentes Hemingway
2 Fuente Hemingway Works Of Art (DAYYYYUM What a smoke)
    2 Casa Fuentes churchills
    AShton VSG
6 Fuente Opus Opus X's (My personal favorite cigar of all time)

And hell Mr. I even hooked me up with a Cuban this weekend truly making it a weekend of the cigar.

So in closing my thanks go out to Mr. Irreverant and eyesk8r for the sticks and smoke em if you got em!

By the way of the ones I have smoked already the Work Of Art Maduro is my favorite. What a clean smoke:

    Highly Recommended!

I have a couple Romeo Y Julieta (Medallas de Oro?) from some place called habana that I've had in my humidor for a bit (about a month). They have some pesky reddish wood wrapping around them that makes me think they might splinter in my mouth....I dunno.

I'm currently on gurkha & zino until I find something better.

can you recommend one with a "spicy" flavor? gurkha tastes good, but I know there is better. Zino is just smooth. I can do the triple maduros and what not, but I'd rather have something spicier.

Nice pickups. I just have some of my usual sticks chilling in my small humidor. (I need to get a bigger one)
Ashton ESG and VSG, CAO Brazilia's, Montecristo No. 2's, Rocky Patel vintage 92's and Partagas Black's.

Aston VSG Enchantments are my favorite smoke. Similar figurado-style stick like the Work of Art pic you posted.

I'm looking for a nice mild starter cigar. So far I've only experienced Fuente Curly Head and I very much enjoyed it. What else should this novice be lighting up?

I have about 30 of those things in my humidor. They are too mild for my liking (guess I didn't read the reviews carefully enough). I usually give them out to my friends who don't really smoke that much. If I give them something stronger half of it usually goes to waste. Anyways, if you see me on a game day roll call that you will also be at or live close by let me know and I will give you a few.

My brother is really into cigars....this weekend a smoked a couple and decided I like the drag of the robusto cigars. Not sure what kind it was but my brother said the wrapper was 5 years old.

If any of you remember I started a cigar thread 12-18 months ago as I was just getting into it. You all gave me some advice and recommendations as to what cigars I should be starting out on, types of humidors, etc. You ****ers must have done a good job because I'm hooked. I still feel like a novice as there are so many cigars I haven't tried but I'm getting there.

Somebody just brought me back a couple of Cuban Romeo y Julieta Coronita's. I plan on having one this week. My favorite smoke right now is a Punch Gran Cru Superior. I also have some Flore de Oliva maduro cigars I really like. Great value in a cigar. My roommate bought me a CAO Brazilia last week but the thing fell apart on me. That's why you don't buy cigars from liquor stores.

Here are some pics of the humidor. It's small but does the job.
