any quality and non-freakishly unhealthy methods for thoroughly douching a stained decanter?

Clean stained decanters by filling them with water and adding 1 cup ammonia or vinegar. Soak overnight.

mayun... i did that, but Kat's sister's 13-year old s*** juice was just too powerful.

i've had this happen sorta. i used puro caff. it's a cleaner for espresso/coffee stains. i think the stuff is kinda pricey, but there might be something that's a similar product.

i used to work at a coffee shop many moons ago and i found this stuff to clean a lot of things that get a little dingy/murky looking. i'd take a gander and see if there's a commercial product that compares. good luck.
