I love spicy sauces as much as the next person but IMHO, The heat the sauce puts out is secondary to the actual taste of the sauce itself. Im not big into the novelty "blow yer pie hole out" micro brewery sauces. They do however, make for good "bet your drunk friend he cant down a teaspoon with out breaking a sweat" sauces. The only one I had an extensive relationship with back in the 90's was Dave's Insanity, the first one. It had kick yet had a really good aftertaste. It was killer in Chili. Other than that, I keep to the sauces I mentioned previously...They are my go-to mainstays.

Have this one in the office. Almost done with it, and I'll probably buy more of it. Not as hot as the label indicates, but I really like the flavor of it. Nice sweet, fruity flavor, but then a little kick of heat finishes it off. Would be really nice with some chicken or fish, if you didn't feel like making your own mango salsa.

I disagree. There are so many wonderful flavors out there, to limit one's self to Tapatio would be a crime. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it at times too (especially on a tuna sandwich), but there are some others that are equally awesome.

In short, it sucks. The flavor is nothing special, but it will tear the ass out of you. Long on heat, short on appeal, IMHO.
