When all else fails, I just make up my own batch using Frank's Red Hot Sauce as the base and adding extra spices, chili powders and sauces.
Just had the wings at Fox & Hounds in Studio City....pretty f-ing good. If you go during happy hour they are half priced as well.
For boneless hot wings...
"No Bones About It" at Tony P's in Marina Del Rey.
Hooters 911 or I make my own sauce with Louisiana's Hot Sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, hot peppers & butter. Coat with wings flour, paprika., & salt; then deep fry & cover with sauce.
Springbok in Van Nuys near the airport has pretty damn good wings.
You can get them baked if you're prepared to wait an extra 20 or 30 minutes, and they're supposed to be awesome.
I'm usually not willing to wait.
