I can't stand the fake bacon but I was raised eating their other soy products like the grillers and sausages. My favorite breakfast food of all time happens to be a griller, fried egg on a lenders frozen bagel, lol. It was my standard breakfast food, thanks mom!

I only got 50%, but I do know this.

Being that I don't like the over saltiness of bacon, I once experimented with "de-brining" it in apple cider. Essentially, giving it a soak in apple cider for a period of time prior to cooking. What I found was a truly delicious method of making bacon even better! For a while I actually kept a jar of cider in the fridge with bacon in it to pull out and cook. It lasted about a month before it got funky. Anyway, give it a try. A minimum of 2 hours will get you where you need to be. The only down side is that because of the resulting high sugar content, it's more prone to burning, so go low and slow. Good luck baconeers!!
