Sounds delicious!
Over the summer, Panera Bread had a "Strawberry Poppyseed Salad" that I thought was phenomenal. (And I am not a salad lover!)
It consisted of:
4 cups of torn Romaine Lettuce
2 ounces each: fresh strawberries cut into bite sized pieces, whole blueberries, mandarin oranges (drained), fresh pineapple cut into bite-sized pieces
1 ounce chopped pecans
Fat-free, reduced sugar poppyseed dressing
That close to Morton's and no steak, damn. I'm happy your happy with your salad!
Ask her how many times she said "I had the Best salad" the whole weekend.. AWWWWWWWW
There's a place by my house called Sage that makes the exact salad, but they also add candied pecans. Good stuff, minus the gorgonzola. Can't do the gorgonzola.
I LOVE that salad!! I've re-created it and I make it at home. I get all of the ingredients at Trader Joe's, except the dressing. I use BRIANNAS' Blush Wine Vinaigrette (This is what it looks like below) that I usually get at Ralph's or Gelson's.
Delicious indeed!

I tossed the best salad on Friday.
Best salad I ever had was a roasted golden beet salad with feta cheese and a citrus vinagrette
