Thread: I just saw the commercial for Cici's Pizza . . .

. . . actually, I just heard it while surfing LGK.

I heard something about feces during the commercial and it made me wonder why they were talking about feces during a commercial.

I started watching the commercial and realized the announcer was talking about Cici's, not feces.

I think they could have come up with a better name for a buffet restaurant.

is there Cici's pizza down in Cali? I dont think we have any Washington

Ruby Tuesday and Sonic. See those damn commercials all the time and the closest Ruby Tuesday is in Las Vegas and while there is a Sonic in Anaheim, I'd have to drive like 10 miles out of the way to get to it. The 2nd closest Sonic is in Tehachapi, which is in Kern County.

Who the hell decided to have a fast food chain in 34 states and then decided to not have one location in Los Angeles County, a place with a population of approximately 10 million people? Meanwhile there are like 10 Sonics in Bakersfield.

You are so right on with this one. I had no clue that Ruby Tuesday didn't have any locations in LA. I know we don't have any in the Ventura County area so I figured I was seeing the commercials because they are located in Los Angeles. I just looked them up and they have 3 in Northern California, and that's it! Why are they advertising down here? It drives me nuts to see advertisements for places that aren't in our area.

They must be getting ready to build a few in our area...

I thought there's a Ruby in the Palos Verdes area. in the mall, I think? I last ate there over 10 years ago.

and I think there's another in Tustin or thereabouts. went there for my dad's birthday earlier this year.

Are you sure it's not a Ruby's as opposed to being a Ruby Tuesday?

There is a Ruby's in Tustin.

As mentioned already, it looks as though there aren't any RTs in So Cal.

I've eaten at Ruby Tuesday's in Tampa, FL and its food beats TGIF's and Chili's! Somone needs to franchise one out here in Socal.
