An off the wall answer...hope it helps:

Though I drink them daily, I would stay away from caffeine if you're not used to it...the come-down is a bitch. Believe it or not, apples have a better "pick-me-up" effect, but make sure to eat the skins as well.

If you are on your feet so much, invest in some good "gel" type insoles with a good instep (as long as you don't have flat feet). Believe it or not, they help your posture and vitality, accuteness, awakedness....whatever you want to call it.

I used to work in retail and have done way too many trade shows. I swear by my Doc Martens and insoles and kill the caffeine when I can't have a constant flow.

    Good luck!!

Start your morning with some Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. Then take some bentonite clay detox. Both of these get rid of "things" and help you become more alert. I also find eating less throughout the day, or just sticking with foods that are more protein heavy helps with energy. But the best thing is exercise. Whenever I am tired, I'll do 20 push-ups, and 30 squats, and I am awake. Another thing I do each morning is a series of joint mobilty exercises. This really makes you feel agile, and wakes me up every morning...

Here's a good article on Joint Mobility:

Make sure you're drinking a minimum of 100 ounces of water a day. Try to spread it evenly throughout the day as well. Then you can try Coffee, Tea, Soda (I like Coke Zero or Diet Pepsi). An orange for a snack will help you get the vitamin c rush. I usually have one at the office around 3 when I get that mid afternoon crash and it usally helps me get out of it.

I feel really sorry for you. I had to work two jobs many times (single parent). I can only repeat what the others have said. Stay away from coffee, soda etc. I used to drink orange juice, actually any juice, but primarily orange. The real stuff, not Sunny D etc. Go outside on your break and do some deep breathing. Above all, if you find your primary employment is suffering due to lack of sleep etc., quit the second job. Not much help but I feel your exhaustion!

If you can kill a mime, do it. The adrenaline rush will keep you going for days. Also you will do a great justice for all of mankind.

Acai pills. My girlfriend's a nurse who works the 12-hour midnight shift and she swears by them. I've tried them myself and concur.

Beware of imitation brands, though. These work good:
