If you're mentally exhausted, you may want to see someone to help you deal with it whether it be a psychologist, friend, spiritual figure or a hermaphroditc midget.

I'm always there for you except the drunk part. Laying off the beer until after taekwondo tourney on Saturday. Got to make weight.
Is there any way you can improve your diet? That doesn't mean energy drinks, caffeine.
So, I typed in this long message and my uberparamilitaryfirewall apparently didn't want you to read it. So here's a brief synopsis:
5 hour energy and a piece of fruit
or
Xyience Energy drinks Xenergy Big Apple
or
self brewed black or green tea.
I have probably tried just about every energy inducing beverage out there, and the above are the best options and are fairly healthy. The teas obviously more so than the others, but those aren't bad options in a pinch. Stay away from diet anything because the aspartame is horrible for you.
Good luck, hope it helps.

If you're burned out, you may be needing more calories for fuel. It ALL starts with a solid breakfast. Scrambled eggs and hash browns (even the frozen ones in a pinch) is my tried and true favorite for a long day. That has never once let me down. Other mornings I'll go for fruit, yogurt, and instant oatmeal. But skipping (or skimping) on breakfast is like energy suicide.
Then a solid, healthy lunch. A sandwich on wheat baguette, maybe some baked chips and carrot and celery sticks will pick you up. Or a tray of spicy tuna (or salmon) brown rice rolls is good lean energy and protein. Happily, even my local Safeway makes decent sushi rolls. A big cheeseburger and fries (or most all drivethru food) will drag you down BIG time.
Lastly, I'm a huge fan of a strong cup of tea (black, green or chai) with honey and a splash of half and half and a little snack bar at 3:30 or 4. That's the kick that gets me poppin' through the rest of the afternoon and evening. LOVE it.
On the 5-hour energy, I've also heard it works. Never tried one myself, because the above routine usually does the trick for me.
Good luck!
Five hour energy is supposed to be awesome. I would never put that Monster or Rockstar **** in my body.

at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.
