    Default I need a cure for exaustion. Do you have one?

    Hi all my LGK family,

    I had to get a second job, and the thing has me on my feet for 6-7 hours a day after my normal 8 hour job.

    To put it bluntly, I'm ****ing tired. And I need your help.

    Does anyone in LGK Food & Drink Land have that magic elixir to help me with my tiredness (is this a word? it is now).

    Please don't suggest anything that involves white powders that are illegal. I understand that they can be fun, but thats just not my thing.

    Teas, coffee from your buddy Joe, a couple of Midol... y'know, that kind of thing.

    Pelase help.

    Well, this is a pretty idealistic answer, but i think that sleep's still the best thing for you.

    I use simple black coffee or strong menthol drops (Fisherman's Friend ftw!) to keep me awake, but that just works for maybe 30 minutes. And no matter how much stuff you take, sleep will strike back and get you at some point (kinda like in Final Destination )

    My suggestion: take a break, find some quiet place and take a nap for 10-15 minutes, but not longer. I know it sound yuppie, but it will do wonders.

    Eliminate fried food completely from your diet, or at least cap it at one fried meal/week. You will notice a world of differences just by that alone! Take in as much protein as you can, and throw in berries and grape juice each day. Excessive caffeine will make you crash hard, so control your coffee intake! Herbal teas are great, but avoid the camimille (sp?) sleepy time ones if you are struggling to stay up. The herbal teas make you feel great, trust me on this one.

    Oh yeah, and completely do away with sodas! They will slow you down and will exhaust you, not to mention the aspartame and a ****load of calories you dont need.

    When you first wakeup, go for a quick jog. You don't have to do anything too long, but it'll invigorate you and give you tons of energy through they day

    I like green tea....not the celestial seasons crap but the real hardcore japanese or chinese green teas. You can drink them all day, they are non acidic compared to coffee, they can pack a punch but not to the extreme where you get herky jerky on interferes with natural sleep.

    Rest is a good suggestion as well. Try picking up some kavakava extract and drink it an hour or so before bed. Ive got some.....if you are going to the Duck Roast I will give some to you.

    +1. I haven't tried it but friends I work with swear by it. Not a sugar rush.
