    Dan the man is correct!

Simply go to the grocery store and buy your own food/make your own meals to avoid overpriced crappy food at fast food chains and/or restaurants. On average, it costs my wife and I close to 40 bucks for a simple meal out at what is considered an average restaurant in terms of price.

    2 entrees
    1 Arnold Palmer
    Occasional appetizer
    Tip

Usually is an easy 40 bucks on food that I could have made far better and cheaper. Restaurants are just flat our greedy these days. A ****ing pint of Sam Adams at Applebee's was over 6 dollars one night we had dinner there. Had I of known, I would have went with water!

McDonalds - Large Vanilla Iced Coffee for $2.39 each. It's about 32 ounces (waaaaaaay too much ice though) but I seem to buy this 2-3 times a week.

Tacos San Pedro in Hawaiian Gardens has great food. You can get a huge burrito that will fill you up for less than $5. Some that I like are Carne Asada, Lengua and Al Pastor.

Potato tacos at the Little Caboose at Beach & Ball in the wild wild west end of Anaslime. Just try to avoid the Ho's and tweakers roaming around.

There is not a cheaper man than me so its all about the dollar menus for me and Costco.
If you're ever near Pomona and not involved in a shooting or car chase hit up Donahoos on Garey, great chicken and a good deal
Ever since I started working from home I've been doing the same thing. I only live 5 minutes walking from a Fresh and Easy so I've kind of made myself exercise by walking there every day to get the ingredients to cook for the family. I agree that Donahoos has great chicken.

The 2 for $20 deal at fridays is pretty good. Appetizer, 2 entrees & dessert.

Near Staples: The Farm of Beverly Hills (behind ESPN Zone) $2 well drinks and sandwich & side dish for around $8. Good place for a Kings pre game meal.
