    Default Juicers

    What's up with that?

no, I'm not talking about Barry Bonds.

Anyone use a juice extractor or "Juicer" on a regular basis?
    I'm looking into buying one.
Any suggestions for Makes or Models?

I want a juicer that can mow down a 2X4 like an asian masseuse gobbles up gratuities.
    For about the same price.

A couple of my friends are addicted to juicing. It's really good for you and you get crazy energy from it. However, it takes a long time and is expensive.

If Billy Mays doesn't advertise it, I don't want anything to do with it...

Just remember to take the seeds out of the apples before juicing.

If you leave 'em in, you'll get a stomach ache.

(Apple) seeds are mildly poisonous, containing a small amount of amygdalin, a cyanogenic glycoside; usually not enough to be dangerous to humans, but it can deter birds.

This is my juicer. The only hands that can touch it belong on this body. Mine..mine...mine. What did I just say?

    Waring Pro Health Juice Extractor

Obviously for only $70 or $80 it's not as powerful as the $300 ones so you have to chop up the fruit smaller and it leaves some pulp but I'm pretty happy with it. The clean up is sort of annoying but it's worth it because I dunno where else to get fresh cucumber juice (to mix with gin, of course) and the "fresh" apple juice you buy in stores tastes like plastic.

This thread might help get me back on the juicing bandwagon.

I was much healthier when I juiced.

Of course, it's much healthier to eat the fruit and get the fiber too, but I don't do that either.

Hmm, I need to get back to making myself fruit smoothies as well. Nudge, nudge, kick, kick. I like using the whole fruit over using a juicer for the fiber as well as the lack of cleanup mess. I think I still have a slightly used juicer around, but I went nuts and bought a VitaMix years ago and need to put it back to work.
