****ing AWESOME!
That's pretty much it. I hadn't had them in a while, then we had a pot luck thing at work and I brought some. I have 3 packages left over and am going to eat them all.

Growing up as a kid in HI we usually had a round/loaf or the rolls in the house so often that I kind of got sick of them lol.
I don't really care to eat it as rolls/slices anymore but Sweetbread/Pao Dulce is great for french toast and in bread pudding.
Now that mom is eating healthier and I only visit every year, Taro rolls seem to have replaced the sweetbread.
i agree Fisch, a loaf of that made in french toast. damn my mouth is watering just thinking of it!
If you go to eat at the King's Hawaiian restaurant in Torrance they bring the rolls, heated up, right to your table. And you can eat as many as you want. So good!
You can buy them in bags of 4 so I don't have to let them go bad!
My mom gets the large loaf, cuts the top off, guts it and puts the most awesome spinach dip inside it. You then use the pieces of bread to eat the dip. My god is it ever so awesome.
