That aside, cannot wait to fire up the grill and try some new things this summer...ya hearin me Kingsqueen!!!!
ouch...I rather be safe than sorry in regards to my neighbors in my condo setting.
No firepits allowed either, gas/electric heaters only...but I was thinking to get one of those Gel burning Fireplaces/Displays.
It's all about the chance of embers spreading.
One day I'll have a house and get a smoker.
so we went to beef palace on saturday and got this:
burgers for saturday. with the way my husband grills burgers, i have no need to eat them anywhere else. nice and smoky outside, almost rare inside --> just the way i like it.
tri tip last night with a garlic powder, sea salt and cracked pepper dry rub.
baby back ribs with a brown sugar based dry rub and then some bbq sauce we're going to slather on near the end of the slow bbq cook.
i swear the meat at beef palace is magical. my husband being a good bbqer helps, too, of course.
I heard that Costco has a really good deal on sockeye copper river salmon right now.
Rink Rat announced this morning in the shout box that it is 9.99 lb at Ralphs right now. That is a good deal.
I was wondering if anyone had any special tips on how to bbq lobster tails? I've looked online and seen a couple of methods, but I figured to ask my trusty grillers out there on LGK for wise words. :)
I've just soaked them in a brine first, cut them in half and then grill them shell down with lid closed. Add butter near the end. You can do them whole shell too, no problem.
If using a marinade (sweet chili sauce, tequila & lime) I usually add it half way through the cooking process
