Capriotti's makes a mean sub, good sized and nicely priced. They used to have one here in San Diego but the location sucked and it closed. It looks like there are a bunch of them in LV.

By your sister going to the Cosmo buffet- are your talking about The Wicked Spoon? Thinking that might need to be on my itinerary...
Yeah I guess that's the name of it.
My aunt and her friend were in town, went to the Cosmopolitan, somehow signed up for the players club and you can spin the wheel to get a gift for joining. My aunt won 2 free dinners there, her friend won $500 in free slot play.....they call my sister and she heads down there, she ends up with the $500 in free slot play too.
So the other message would be, if you're there, join the players club and spin the wheel.
I have been to the Wicked Spoon twice and it was excellent.

LOVE Wicked Spoon. Go there if you want to go to a buffet.
Awesome thread. In Vegas and feeling a buffet tonight, going to hit up the wicked spoon.
Craft Steak. Ribeye in summer. Short ribs in winter. Thanks Tom.
Studio Cafe in the MGM Grand. Best shrimp cocktail and the sauce is outstanding. Little pricey but well worth it.
I didn't make it to the wicked spoon, but I did enjoy a great meal at an Italian spot: Piero's. It's located off Convention Center, not in a casino. I highly recommend it. Be prepared to loosen up your purse strings if you get fish though...
Went to a place called Smashburger. Really good burger and the fries were excellent.
