Thread: Lawry's Carvery in LA Live

Lawry's Carvery is literally steps from Staples Center and sells amazing fresh carved sandwiches and Prime Rib Dinners at reasonable prices. The quality is excellent and the atmosphere is low key/casual like a sandwich shop. I think it's going to be my regular pre-game stop instead of paying the high prices for mediocre food inside the arena. (The one thing that I loved on the suite level at Staples, the BBQ beef sandwich is now unavailable for some reason)

About how much is a sandwich there?

Love the place, you can get a Prime Rib w/ two sides and soda for under $20.

It's a little pricey compared to a lot of places, but totally worth it. Like RR said, I'd rather pay the money here for some good eats than at Staples for crap.

Sandwich is about $10. Well worth it.

I do like the Pastrami and Corned Beef inside Staples on the 100 level. I think it is Nate and Al's.

I dunno. Last time I went to Phillipes I had a roast beef sandwich and it was actually pretty nasty. Totally fatty, bland tasting, etc.

I really liked the turkey sandwich I had from the Carvery, my wife and I will definitely be going back, provided the lines are not super long.
