Long Beach Fish Grill
I drive by this place on Redondo near Anaheim St. all the time, but never stopped there for some reason. Last night I was craving fish and Googled "Long Beach fish" and then read all these incredible reviews about this place.
Long Beach Fish Grill
Today we took the plunge and it was even better than the reviews described. I had the cajun salmon with grilled italian squash strips and cole slaw. Wifey had a fish taco and a huge side of cole slaw.
The salmon was two small filet strips with the spicey cajun sauce grilled in perfectly. Not over-cooked and still very moist, the taste was incredible, especially for farmed salmon (the menu identifies which fish are farmed and which are wild caught). the portion of two strips was generous compared with what a restaurant would serve and tasted just as good (maybe better).
The squash was grilled perfectly with nice grill marks across each piece and had a smoky BBQ taste. Even the cole slaw was very fresh and tasty!
As I left, I shouted toward the kitchen "You've got a regular customer now" and heard "We'll hold you to that" as a response.
Price was fair, a little higher on the wild-caught fish but that is to be exppected.
Fresh, healthy, and downright tasty! I am so glad it's about a mile from my house!
Why did I not stop here sooner?

Is that the place that used to have Chinese Food and Donuts under the same roof?
EDIT : Right across the street from the Goodwill?

That's the place. Very deceiving look, that is why I missed it all this time.
