Looking for a watering hole in Northridge

Hey folks,

So I'm house-sitting in the Northridge area and was looking for a fun sports/dive bar type of place. Kind of like Yankee Doodle's back in the day.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't know. However one of the best burger places around is in Northridge. King's Burgers on Reseda, North of Nordhoff. Do yourself a favor and grab a burger there.

Quite frankly, there ain't much around there. Back in the day when I went to CSUN (90's), me and my buddies would would go to College Inn (just south of campus on Lindley) or to Yankee Doodles (even before that when it was REBar). Otherwise we would head down to the Westside or Pasadena for our boozing.

Are you looking for a dive bar, cheap drinks, old man in the corner, darts, etc.


My suggestion is McG's on Devonshire. Welcome to McG's Irish Pub & Grill

They have alot of beers on tap ! Its one of our hangouts.

Or you could go to the "Tender Glow" on San Fernando Mission and Balboa. drinks are cheap !
