The Best Persian restaurant in LA is on Westwood, just North of Santa Monica, called Shamshiri Grill. Upscale vibe, but very, very reasonable for lunch. Give your boss a cool ethnic vibe.....

The food ranges from Kabobs to Mediterranean Salads to spice roasted chicken. I think you'll dig it...

I was going to suggest a Persian place (as there are a grip of them on Westwood Blvd.) however I prefer Shaherzad to Shamshiri. If I remember correctly, Flame is a bit nicer than both but not quite as good.

    BUT

The Garden's at Glendon is a block and a half from the cemetery. They can have lunch and then go visit Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Truman Capote, Dean Martin, that little girl from Poltergeist and Robert "Freaking" Stack.

Gardens is great food. Cant go wrong there. But if your thinking of driving to Pinks or Tommys, consider Fathers Office in Culver City that just opened. Great food and beer selection.

Did they open Father's Office in the downtown area? Man, they opened a bunch of stuff right after I moved out. I used to frequent the Santa Monica location, great burgers.
