Thread: Mad Greek??? Who's been?

The Starbucks in Baker has closed. My dad got pissed driving back from Vegas this week because my parents don't usually eat before leaving Vegas in the AM and then drive thru Starbucks in Baker. They got off the 15, drove up and it was closed.

I don't usually stop in Baker, I'll stop in Barstow at the Lenwood exit because pretty much everything is there. Baker does have an A&W and Bob's Big Boy. The Charo Chicken website has said for like a year they're putting one in Baker, but I haven't seen it.

The Mad Greek is simply ok...nothing special. Your best bet is still to grab Tommy's in Lenwood IMHO.

Or if your leaving Vegas, the breakfast or lunch buffet at the Silverton is pretty top notch. It's right off I-15.

The Mosquito baklava is very good.

When I leave Vegas around 6am on Sunday morning I look forward to the breakfast stop at Mad Greek. They have the ultimate breakfast burritos and FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice that rocks. The perfect thing to fuel the long drive home.

Isn't there a Mad Greek in Stanton on Beach Blvd? There's a greek restaurant near Prissy's (the smoke shop) and I think it's also called the Mad Greek. Never been there though.

I had a burger there once. It was completely raw inside. Haven't been back.

I stop at Mad Greek every other trip or so - just for the strawberry shake. Ignore all the others, just go for the "spoon thick" strawberry shake. Never had one better.

Barstow is cool and it has everything, but it's usually to early for lunch when we're passing there...
