Thread: Man V. Food

LIKE THIS SHOW! It may have replaced Bizarre Foods for my fave show of this ilk.

i love watching the "burger paradise" & "sandwich paradise" type shows as well, and the "extreme pig-outs" or whatever type shows too..

also... no reservations rules too

caught a marathon recently and I was wondering if he had to sign a waiver that if he explodes on tv from over eating that his family won't sue.

caught the one where he barfed on the shake challenge.
brain freeze and barf breath yuck!

I prefer Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I'm not a huge fan of Guy Fieri, the host, but the places he goes are the types of places I seek out when I travel. He hits some of THE best spots I could ever imagine. Anytime I watch an episode, no matter if I'm starving or just finished off a huge meal, I get hungry. Also a big fan of No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain. Both get the nod over Man v. Food. And don't get me started on the anything testicle related gobbling Andrew Zimmern. Ugh. I've grown tired of that show.

the only problem i have with "Diners" is that Guy is far too obsessed with dumplings.

Yea, not a dumpling fan myself. Never understood the attraction of a lump of doughy crap that I always felt would have been better off being made into a biscuit.

Oh, hell yes, menudo ANY morning of the week. Extra onions, dried oregano, hot sauce, and fresh lemon for me!!!! And it BETTER damn well be loaded with hominy. I found a place that makes great tacos that had menudo so one morning I ordered the menudo. No hominy! WTF I asked and they said that was just the way they made it. No way man. No way.

I've never understood the difference between hominy, Hamonic, and hommina hommina.

In other news, I love MvF. More than anything, it's because Adam is so damn likeable.
