I had a crack at that 48oz beast when we were in Chicago once. Oh my god!! And to think he's going to attempt it in 20 min? I wouldn't want to be the housekeeper in his hotel room the next day.

Was I the only one pretty disappointed by the live episode? Not that I was expecting some historic tv moment or anything, but I was actually pretty annoyed that they bring out the classic Philly cheesesteak and great, proper New York deli, but then bust out a bastardized, Italianized Cuban sandwich. It might be a damn fine sammich, but if you are IN Miami and your into is Philly and NY original sandwiches, then show off a great original Cuban sandwich!!! Kinda wanted to send Dexter Morgan and his sharp, sharp scalpels over to Adam for some retribution.

I couldn't really watch of it. All the cheesiness from the Nathan's Hot Dog Challenge guy and the lame bits were too much for me.
