i've made homemade beef stroganoff. gosh that reminds me, it's been a while. i should make it again. my husband digs it. that's another thing my mom never made... i was lucky she made me macaroni and cheese and spaghetti, but i don't think that was until i was older and over my picky eater phase...Quote:

One of the things we used to have when I was growing up and haven't had in years since then for whatever reason. We've had it a couple of times in the past year or so since we started making it again. It's good to have every once in a while.
I think i've only had Manwich a couple of times in my life. I remember having sloppy joes in the lunchroom though.
Speaking of pre-processed meats, there was a flat rectangular roast beef slices thing that I used to love as a kid but forget the name of.
this? chipped beef made with these is another thing we had all the time as a kid that I haven't had in 15 years.
