Default In N Out. the end is upon us

SO I was tooling around town with a VIP from SonyEricsson the last couple of days. The one thing he wants to do is go to In N Out for lunch, we go today.

Did you know they no longer will make anything bigger than a 4 X 4. They said the new owner, the original families grandaughter has put a stop to it because there wa s apicture on the internet that showed a 100 X 100 that was the " last straw"

She has made some small changes and is trying to take them Nationwide for the big payday. How long before we see franchisees and frozen meat and heat lamps? I think she is going to ruin this in search of a bigger payday

The biggest burger I've ever had is a Carl's Western Bacon Six Dollar Burger.

After finishing it my chest felt like it was going to explode and I was overwhelmed with guilt. I just find it unimaginable that people eat this much in one sitting.

Gotta agree here.....anything more then a 4X4 is outright greed.

On that same note.....let me know when they go on the stock market. That will be an easy payday.

Couldn't you just order a 4x4 and a double-double then eat them both?

you didn't mention the dressing...now that is a real issue. It is pretty much what gives their product it's distinctive taste.

We live in a litigious society, and McDonald's and other fast-food purveyors have been threatened with lawsuits (or outright sued) for making stupid people fat. The move to limit their biggest burger to a 4x4 was probably suggested by In-N-Out's legal team.

Where'd you hear this about In-N-Out going nationwide? My understanding was that their growth was limited because they own the cattle farms and meat processing facilities here in the west, and can only ship within a certain area without resorting to freezing. I SERIOUSLY doubt that they'd risk their brand by changing anything about their business model so significantly.
