Need a good Italian restaurant in OC

The ONLY place to go for Italian food is Sabatino's in Newport Harbor. Get the sausage and peppers appetizer. You will not regret it.

LOL.......GOLD! The Old Spaghettis Factorys menu is priceless-basically it comes down to meatball or sausage.

Mangia Mangia is pretty good....havent been there in a while but the 3 or 4 times I have been there was always good.

My 2 cents is for the Spaghetti Bender in Newport on PCH. The Minestrone and House Salad alone are worth the price of admission-eat a bit of the entree and take the rest home.

Spadra (formerly Il Ghiotto) in Fullerton has always been good to me. Nothing too fancy, just good food, and a HUGE New York steak if you're in the mood.

I know some people who rave about Sopranos in Costa Mesa. I went there and it wasn't bad, but I didn't see what all the hype was about.

it means "eat, eat" in italian. the owners are sicilian and i always see one or both of them there.
i usually avoid chains and this is about as far away from being a chain as possible.
