If you want thin parm go to Salvatores in Mission Viejo. Its in an industrial building right across from the library on La Paz.
He's Sicilian and makes some of the best food. My dads family is all Italian and we eat there a lot. I only order chicken parm since its my favorite italian dish. I've had it at every Italian restaurant and none of them come close to this one.
And the sauce is great. I'm picky about my sauce and if we're eating in a place (like Macaroni Grill) I order my parm sans sauce. I try to stay away from the big chain type restaurants.
Mangia Mangia and Mangia Bene are disgusting.
We finally found something decent out by us - Vincenzos Olive Branch. Another Sicilian family owned hole in the wall with really good sauce.

+1 for Roman Cucina, I don't think I've had something I didn't like from there. The Chicken Parm is good with the Rosa sauce or with regular marinara.
K&T.. you didn't like the lasagna? I think it's awesome the way the cheese is under the sauce on the sides, so good.

Like I said, the one time I had the lasagna, it was WAY too salty. But that doesn't mean I won't give it another shot, my friends like it. I'm somewhat of a creature of habit though, and when I got there, I always think "I'm going to try something new this time" and I always end up getting the sausage mozzarella again.
