Default Need help! Best Chinese Restaurant you know..

OK, my wives birthday is tomorrow and I have worked way tooo many hours this week already and need help from you guys. I need a restaurant near downtown or West Hollywoodish. I'm coming from the "land of the dirt people" and I know it's gonna be raining most likely. AND we are going to the game later. Price is not an issue, just the best for her. Thanks in advance.

anywhere in the I.E. or High Desert would be my guess.

(actually, they should be considered "dust people")

Fu's Palace on Pico is good.

There is also a good NY Style place in Chinatown, I thinks it's Yang Chow.

Elite in Monterey Park is not too far from downtown.
Just make sure you meant "price is not an issue".

Yup. Just walk right into any residence and sit down at the dinner table.

is the best advice you're gonna get... and it's on the way.

i grew up in Monterey Park and a place i've gone to for years has not only been a favorite of mine, but my wife loves it as well, is JJ Cafe on 447 West Garvey Avenue Monterey Park, CA 91754-1690 - the cross st. is Ynez, which is between Garfield and Atlantic on the north side of the street.

it's about as HK as you're ever going to get.
