O.C. Taco House - FAIL

I was getting hungry today, and was heading to the Flame Broiler to pick up my Beef Plate with Brown Rice. As I was pulling into the parking lot at 11:30 today, and thought "Wow, looks empty today".

I pull into a parking spot, and O.C. Taco House (Springdale/Edinger) has an eviction notice on the door.

I will not weep for the loss of a sub par Mexican establishment, but WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!!!! This was a popular hangout amongst the children at Marina H.S.

Now they will be filling up Flame Broiler more than they have been.

Any joint that contains both "O.C." and "Taco" in the name has to suck.

I agree with the "O.C." part but not the "Taco". There are many fine taco establishments in the OC with the name "Taco" in them.

For instance, Tacos Mexico

I used to go to the one in Santa Ana when I was super loaded and eat aboot $10 worth of tacos. This was about 9 years ago when the tacos were still cheap.

i believe job meant any place that combines "O.C." AND "Taco" sucks & that he's ok with taco places that don't have "O.C." in it.

i could be wrong though. maybe job has a hatred for tacos in general that only gets magnified by orange county affiliations in the propietary name.

I actually used to go there on Taco Sundays....all tacos were 75 cents and Id get like 10 and a 12 pack of beer. Not half bad but not nearly as good as the taqueria on springdale/westminster provided the guy cooking the tacos isnt a gringo hater. Theres a story with me and my brother, psychopuck, an unlimted 50 cent taco coupon, and jaeger/cinnamon schnapps that now ranks as legendary.
