Well there's always the Golden Steer up the street.
Funny thing about this place is that, honestly, I had the best top sirloin steak there not too long ago. I usually turn my nose to that cut, especially since it's only a Select grade, but it was really tender and juicy.
And the best thing about Golden Steer is that the waitresses will always call you "honey" or "sweetie."
What kind of ambience are you looking for? For a delightful romantic meal with great Italian food (also there is a squeeze box lady that plays on certain nights) we like Luciana's in Dana Point...not sure about the corkage though.
Citrus City Grille in the Orange Circle is a great place to go as well. Took my wife there for her birthday a couple of weeks ago.
Juan Pollo is some good eats.....great potato salad.
We're trying to figure out our 10th anniversary for April and usually we do Chart House in Dana Point. Not sure about their corkage options as we just get a wine from their menu. For Italian, we do Salvatore's. I know we've brought our own wine when we do family dinners there.
