I bought a mexican papaya one time and after cutting it open started calling it Poop-aya.
Based on that smell I can assume its the same genus as the durian.

As for Mangos, a good mango smells like flowers and is as sweet as honey.

The most perfect tropical fruit.

I don't know about overrated/underrated but I can say that I HATE canteloupe and honeydew...and I LOVE cherries.

I dunno if over or underrated but my favorite fruit is the Fuji Apple. Not too tart / not too sweet, not too soft / not too hard - just right!

The smaller ones are better than the larger ones.

I've never even heard of 1/2 the fruits mentioned - guess I need to start finding some cool places to buy produce and try some of these - any good sugguestions?

You'd think I'd have heard of Durian - it's my mom's maiden name! I dunno if I'd be able to get by the smell though?!
