No, but I do remember way back when Stater Brothers had their own "beer" also labeled simply "Beer." Can't find a picture on google but it was awesome.

And now that I think about the intention of this thread, I want to add one thing...

Sure, I'll find myself occasionally drinking Pabst in a pinch, but another super-cheap option and MUCH better beer is the Simpler Times Lager 6-pack at Trader Joe's for only $3.99.

Well, when Joe Jost's used have it I would have a REAL COLD PBR, a special, pickled eggs, and some peanuts.

There isnt anything wrong with PBR i will take it over Coors or Bud any day of the week and twice on sunday.

A pint of Guinness is another story though.

If things get so bad for me(And they surely aren't grand now) that I have to choose between
Coors
Bud
Miller
Corona
Pabst

I will break down and pour myself a tall frosty glass of...





... Ice water. Ahhh... refreshing.. and it tastes better than the above beers.

I remember that stuff at Alpha Beta before Ralphs bought them.

speaking of which, i never drink beer that comes in a can unless i'm in a 3rd world country.
