Thread: Peeps.

Unless it's toasted in a campfire I'm not a big fan of marshmallow. Homemade S'mores being my top choice followed by the occasional Hostess Snoballs.

I tried a boutique lavender marshmallow from some lavender farm in Hawaii the last time and it was yuck.

HAHAHA, that sounds gross.

i'm picky about marshmallows. i actually don't like peeps, but when i tried the chocolate ones, they were ok. i can't eat a whole box of that stuff, but i was able to eat more of the choco ones.

my nephew also made homemade marshmallows that he used dyed blue confectioner's sugar to coat and those were good, but i still got sick of them after half the bag.

when it's cooked down they're better, like the yams and in hot chocolate.

i went to ralphs yesterday to get stuff/candy to make my kid's easter basket. where do you find these chocolate covered peeps? i want to buy one for her. they didn't have cadbury cream eggs either. LAME.

For Fun....put a peep in the microwave.

I am so cheap, lol, with the exception of Halloween candy, I wait until after the holiday to buy holiday candy in order to get them at clearance prices.

Guess what I will be buying on Monday, lol! :D

Lunch - I found them at Ralphs with the rest of the easter candy. Right next to the rest of the Peeps. They had a whole section of them.

Mallomars...... The elusive cookie. We have the family in NY ship them to us. We have a hard time finding them and when we do, my dad buys a case of them.
