Do yourself a favor and have your mom over and cook her breakfast. It's rarely good times in OC for sunday brunch. Everywhere worth the effort is a friggin zoo...

Hands down best brunch in OC is at Taps. For the ladies they get champagne and for the guys they get craft brewed beer. The food is great, and the patio is amazing on a Spring morning. If I was going to take my mom to a Mother's Day brunch, this place would be it.

Has anyone ever eaten at Citrus City Grille? My mom asked me to make a reservation there.

I've been there and it's okay. The service was very good, the decor is really cool, and the food is descent. My favorite was the Chocolate Souffle for dessert.

If you have any room left for more dessert, walk down a few store fronts to Cafe Lucca for homemade sorbeto and gelato.

Is it on the second floor?

    Is it upstairs from you?

Yes, I think I've seen it before.

No, it's just a few stores down from Citrus City Grille; closer to the circle. It has a few tables out front so it's nice to sit there and people watch... or a lot of people sit there with their dogs and people/pet watch.
