Any of you ever tried to make it at home? Dad had a couple of Eastern European neighbors growing up and they made it during the holiday season. Mom used to make it once or twice a year and we would finish it within 2 days if not sooner. It looks something like this:

Actually, I'm very familiar with Potica, as my wife's father is Slovenean and she learned to make it from her Slovenean grandmother. It's a chore to make, but well worth it in the long run. One thing we found when we visited Slovenia last year is that there are a million versions of Potica. Evidently every family has their own version of Potica, so my wife's recipe might be very different from what you are used to.
