    Default Rainier Cherries

Those orange and yellow cherries that cost a little more than the red ones are called Rainier Cherries. I just picked up the first taste of the season and they are wonderful and well worth the extra $$.

I am addicted. The crop this year are amazing. I accidentally got a regular cherry with min and the difference in taste is like night and day.

Last time I had a Ranier Cherry was at Pike's Market in Wa. Can't get much better than that. I will put these on the list right next to truffle oil and bacon.

We've been hitting these for a couple weeks (just killed a bag a moment ago) and I agree.... this year they are perfectly ripe and UNREAL. Once you start popping you just can't stop.
