Yeah, I've seen this before, and this guy is crazy (in a good sense of the word). As much as I love pizza, and as much as I would love to make a pie at home that measures up to what you can get at a good NY pizzeria, for me it's just too much of a pain, and I don't have time or energy to do it, but if someone is willing to do it so painstakingly - more power to them!

Im a big fan of the trader joes pizza doe w/ canned crushed garlic for the sauce and yogurt cheese w/ basil and tomatoes on top. i think you can get everything at traders for less than 10 bucks.

Use Fleischmann's rapid rise yeast to cut down on the time. Dough rises and is ready to go in 10 minutes. I'm not a big fan of NY style pizza nor a pizza snob so I am content with my homemade pizza with quick makeshift dough.

Pizzerias tend to tout how hot of an oven they use. Temps that most ordinary home appliances can't reach.
I've never made homemade pizza so I don't know what the deal is. It's easy enough to pick up or order a pie or slice than make one myself.
I'm kinda ghetto when it comes to heating frozen pizzas, I like Stouffer's French Bread Pizza's the best. lol
