I went to a local store in AV that sells it, they want $32 for a 750ml bottle!
Is that the going rate? Do they make a smaller bottle? If so where can i get it?

So, I'd decided a couple days ago to have a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale even though I'd had them before and already knew I didn't like their brews. But, in the interest of fairness, I revisited the beer to find out what it was that I didn't like. I took the first sip and that familiar taste hit me. Hops. Not too harsh but more hoppy than the average fair. And that's what it was that has put me off of SN for years. Truth be told the hoppiness mellowed out through the beer and I actually liked it more near the end than that first sip, but I don't think I'm destined to become a "hop head" like many others. Weird, since I've had IPAs before and liked them. I like hefs and aren't they a more hoppy style?
Eh, I dunno. SN just doesn't suit my taste. My next beer was a Guinness and that always fits like a glove.
Oh, and I tried a bottle of Dos Equis Amber later that night. Maybe I was too buzzed to tell but I could barely taste anything.
There are some left at quite a few places in the Long Beach area. I held off, but my friend picked one up to age. There has been a lot of carbonation issues so only pick up if you decide to let it sit.

The Lost Abbey is absolutely HORRIBLE with carbonation as of the last year. I had such high expectations for Gift of The Maji & 10 Commandments, and was so disappointed with the results as both brews were as flat as a checkerboard. Even the Judgment Day and Lost & Found were extremely flat. I keep hearing there are no signs of carbonation yet with the new release of The Angel's Share. I've got a 375 ml bottle and oughta give it a shake to see if any bubbles pop up. The Lost Abbey is highly overrated, except for The Angel's Share and The Serpents Stout. Those two are nectars of the gods!
Last year's Angel's Share Bourbon Barrel was perfect! I was able to drink mine right away and the carbonation was beautiful. Some of the 750 ml bottles are going for $36 at stores right now for the newest release! A great brew, but not worth that much, especially with the Lost Abbey's carbonation flaws!
