I wonder how it tastes? Picked up a 6 of Affligem blond yesterday. I'm on my second of the day to celebrate the Kings win and the end of the regular season. I love this stuff - though I prefer Leffe blond, I just couldn't find any. Good stuff on a windy, rainy day by the fire. I imagine that all 6 will be sunk by the end of the day and then I can get into my Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout for desert tonight. Good day all around!
I'm so sick of Brewdog's consistency of releasing crappy beers.
Tried Port Brewing's Hot Rocks Yesterday. It was great. Seemed even better than last year's batch. With the playoffs here, I'll probaly just get a case of an IPA to last me a while. Need to be cost efficient.
Funny you mention the Dogma. It's the best I've had from Brewdog (I've tried about 15 of their beers), and that isn't saying very much at all! Their output is so overpriced and below average. Innovation and originality don't always guarantee greatness.
Has The Lost Abbey fixed their carbonation problems yet? I haven't purchased anything from them in a couple of years because everything has been so flat. Back when they were carbonated, some of their stuff was up there with the best on the market.
thats the only one ive had, my brother and his wife said that dogma was their favorite of theirs as well but, i was not impressed at all
ive never had a problem with lost abbey or port, i had a pint in their tasting room a few weeks ago and everything was delicious, avant garde & the gift of the magi which are exceptional on tap, ill let you know of this magi i have isnt carbonated very well
i also brewed a strawberry cream ale on friday... gonna be sooooo amazing
