Bruery is opening that Provisions store about a block from my house. Fairly excited for it.
The Bruery is overrated. Charge way to much for their wares.
Sorry Az, but it's the truth, they're an above average Brewery at best. Have regretted every purchase from them. Feel like they usually charge at leat $3 too much for each bottle. IF they had a quality like Allagash or Lost Abbey, then I wouldn't mind giving them the dough.
I will give them another chance when they open in Orange. HAve some friends that live by there that want to go.
Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
simply amazing. go get some people
Cornell Hockey - LETS GO RED!
"I love this f***ing team right here."
Without reading through 156 pages of recommendations (which will happen in due time though), I wanted to add some favorites of mine. Sorry for repeats.
If you ever get a chance in early February, go to Santa Rosa to Russian River for the release of Pliny the Younger (Triple IPA). Best beer EVER.
Russian River's Pliny the Elder (Double IPA)
Russian River Consecration (dark Belgian sour ale aged in cabernet barrels)
Black Flag Imperial Stout (must try the Fresh Hop Edition - it has a green bottle cap)
Bootlegger's Black Phoenix (Chipotle Coffee Stout)
Bootlegger's Knuckle Sandwich (Imperial IPA)
Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout
Moylan's Imperial Stout
Moylan's Hopsickle (Triple IPA)
Lost Coast's Tangerine Wheat
Eel River's Acai Berry Wheat
Bear Republic's Racer 5
Bear Republic's Hop Rod Rye
Dogfish Head Festina Peche
Dogfish Head 90min IPA
Almost all of the Stone Brewery's creations
And many, many, many more.
If you want a wicked black/tan... try it with Dogfish Head 90min & North Coast's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. :D
Breweries I've visited so far:
Bootlegger's - Fullerton
Skyscraper - El Monte
The Bruery - Fullerton
Oggi's aka Left Coast
Anchor Steam - San Francisco
North Coast - Fort Bragg
Lost Coast - Eureka

Bear Republic - Healdsberg

Totally ready & willing to organize a LGK brewery meet.
Haven't had the pleasure of trying either of the Pliny's yet as they sell out lightning fast anytime a place gets some. Did score a bottle of Dogfishhead Theobroma that I'm looking forward to.
Last beer I had was Lagunitas Lucky 13. Very nice! Totally dug it.
