Good job, my man! I've often put down 6'ers without a struggle (not on a work night though, heh).

yea, it's those extra 4 oz. that start to add up after more than 3 pints. You start thinking "I've only had 3 pints" but that's 4 bottles. That can quickly turn into a 6 pack plus and it goes down so easily and doesn't wreck you like the higher gravity beers. TOOOOOO easy to drink a lot of Celebration Ale, especially on tap. And no, this is definitely NOT a complaint!

    Totally dude!

I simply justify excessive amounts of Celebration Ale in the sense that its only here once a year! Although it ages NICELY for an IPA, you still need it fresh to do its justice!

Default Firestone Velvet Merlin fka Velvet Merkin

For the record, I think I've already filled my quota for consumption of Velvet Merkin for the season. I spent the better part of 4 hours at the Pour House Friday with a huge group of friends and had nothing but Velvet Merkin. I have no idea how many I had but needless to say, I needed a ride home in the worst way. I didn't feel human again until last night. THIS is my ringing endorsement for drinking lots of Velvet Merkin while it's available. Go find it as it should be distributed everywhere in CA. It's an outstanding oatmeal stout. Just delicious and so easy to drink. Highly recommended.

PS - the new name, Velvet MerliN SUCKS balls.

Brought a 6'er of that to a pre-Halloween party a few weeks back, and WOW ! Absolutely brilliant oatmeal stout, up there with Stockyard from Goose Island. Mmmm.

I have a feeling that my next trip to the local spirit store will be rather expensive.
