Congregation Ale House in Azusa....

had a Ayinger Oktoberfest tonight. pretty good.

also Eagle Rock's Populist IPA. not bad either.

their pizza was tasty.

Ladyface Weisenbock. Goes down waaaay too easily. Damn glad I have a growler of it sitting in the fridge.
Grand Teton Pursuit of Hoppiness. Smelling the bottle cap I thought this was gonna be a hop bomb. The hops are aggressive, don't get me wrong, but it also has a good malt backbone to balance it a little. Pretty good stuff.

Bought a New Belgium mixed 12 pack.

Fat Tire, Hoptober, Ranger IPA, and Belgo IPA. 3 bottles each.

Sharing with my brothers, watching NHL Network, and enjoying an off day from work.

in other news, KRBC's Citra DIPA won the Gold Medal in the Imperial IPA division at the Great American Beer Festival this weekend.

btw, my sister who normally does not prefer IPA fell in love with their Citra. damn, I'm one proud brotha.
